Last updated: October 12, 2026
SecuritySnares, Inc. (“SecuritySnares,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit www.securitysnares.com (the “Site”), request a demo, submit a ransomware sample, or use the partner area of the Site. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Website Terms of Use.
This Policy does not cover data processed by the RansomSnare software or related services on behalf of our customers. That processing is governed by the applicable customer agreement, including our Software Terms and Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us

If you are an authorized SecuritySnares partner, we collect the information needed to create and secure your account, such as your name, email address, organization, and authentication details (a password, a passkey, or sign-in through your organization’s single sign-on provider). When you register a deal, we collect the business contact and opportunity information you submit about the prospective customer.

- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage information, including approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Security checks. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated bots. Turnstile evaluates signals from your browser and device to do this.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- respond to demo requests, inquiries, and support requests;

3. Ransomware Sample Submissions
Files submitted for testing may contain malicious code. We analyze them in isolated environments and keep submitted files and the results of our analysis indefinitely, so that results remain reproducible. Results are tied to the file’s SHA-256 hash and may be visible to anyone who submits or looks up the same file. We never publish the name, email address, company, or IP address of the person who submitted a sample. We keep submitter information to prevent abuse and to contact you about your result. Please do not submit files that contain personal information or confidential business data that you are not authorized to share. See our Sample Submission Terms for details.
